Draw with connections, not just strokes

Nekudot is a browser-based expressive drawing tool. As you draw, it remembers every point and weaves faint lines between nearby ones - so a single gesture blooms into a web of its own. Inspired by mrdoob's Harmony.

The idea

Most brushes only lay down the pixels under your cursor. Nekudot also gives your drawing a memory - it remembers everywhere you've drawn. While you draw, a connecting brush reaches out to nearby remembered spots and draws faint lines between them. Hundreds of those overlapping threads build the soft, sketchy, spider-web texture that Harmony made famous.

Because that memory is shared and sticks around, your marks relate to each other: new strokes reach back toward old ones, and the drawing grows as one connected thing rather than a stack of separate lines.

Try this first Open the app, grab Round (1) and scribble a loose shape - then scribble a second one nearby and watch faint threads leap between them. That bloom is the whole idea; everything else just shapes how it looks.
